Paul Nevin (Not Pat)
Our first team coach apparently has offers elsewhere and is currently considering them.

Could be a loss of another of Moyes’s back room staff.

This one could be quite a big one as well because Nevin is highly regarded and also works with England.

The England who play as negatively as is... Coincidence?

Re: Paul Nevin (Not Pat)
Nevin is the man responsible for us being effective from set pieces. Take that away from us whilst leaving Moyes in charge and our goal threat is reduced by about 60%.

Re: Paul Nevin (Not Pat)
The set pieces that were non existent last season ?

Moyes decided we longer needed them as he was trying to be expansive

Expansive to him is extra sugar in his cocoa

Losing one coach could be an accident...

Alan Irvine, Stuart Pearce, Mark Warburton and Paul Nevin hmmm!

Re: Paul Nevin (Not Pat)
Think you'll find when we started to revert to our 'old ways' mid season, the set pieces also suddenly seemed to be ore effective.

Suggestion being it went from Moyes having wrestled control of them, to Nevin and Nolan being reinstated on them.

Basically for all we've achieved on his watch, Moyes (and his stubborn, control freak attitude) is the root cause of a lot of problems at West Ham currently...we're losing coaches, we're going to lose players and miss out on players because of his style.

This Summer would have been the perfect time for him to ride off into the sunset, but no....he's going to outstay his welcome and end up going rancid.

Rocky times ahead. Look forward to the announcement of the replacement coaches...given we know they can't be progressive coaches as they'll have seen what Warburton said and know a move under Moyes is pointless, we can all imagine the type and calibre of individual we'll be getting.

I fucking hope the bigger picture here is to remove Moyes as well

Might be some early season pain as Moyes lines up with Soucek and someone who isnt D Rice to cover for him but suspect we will be changing manager before BONFIRE NIGHT
Might have less coaches to pay off by the sound of it.

Re: Paul Nevin (Not Pat)
This is getting ridiculous. Fucking get rid of Moyes! We won that cup despite this bloke, nobody wants to play or work for the cunt.

Re: Paul Nevin (Not Pat)
It does say something about Moyes that his trusted lieutenants want to fuck off for a variety of reasons

Though I expect Sullivan will be pleased as it's one less contract to pay off when he finally fucks Moyes off at the end of the season..

Not surprising is it?

i wouldn't want to work with the bug eyed Victorian ghost either.

Re: Paul Nevin (Not Pat)
To save the cost of new kit they'll get someone with the initials PN.

Gotta be Phil Neville.

Re: Paul Nevin (Not Pat)
I can only echo Vexed, Russ and scouse kid.

The collateral damage of keeping Moyes on, in terms of losing players and coaching staff alone could be big, let alone worrying about results going forward.

Re: Paul Nevin (Not Pat)
It says he left to explore opportunities outside of the Premier League.

Maybe Gerrard’s new head coach in Saudi Arabia?

Rumoured to be joining Patrick Vieira at Strasbourg

It was also suggested on another site that he could be joining Patrick Viera at Strasbourg.

Jump before you're pushed?

its quite likely that all the coaching staff will be out of a job before the end of the year anyway.

Might as well go and get a good job while your stock is high? (England coach and now European cup winner)

Also, who wants the constant pressure of last season again??

"Jump before you're pushed?"

I wondered that also. Moyes is a very generous and tempting 12/1 to be the first manager gone.
